With roots going back to the middle of the 19th Century, Overisel Reformed Church remains a thriving and growing congregation today. Begun by Dutch immigrants from the town of Hellendorn in the Overissjle province, today's congregation includes those that have recently found themselves living in the area as well as decendants of the original members.
Overisel Reformed Church is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America and a member of the Regional Synod of the Great Lakes, and the Zeeland Classis.
We are an evangelical church teaching The Holy Bible and administering two sacraments, baptism and holy communion. We adhere to several creeds including the Apostles' Creed as well as the Heidelberg Catechism.
